WHAT WE THINK:

OUR SCORE:

4 out of 5 starsNot to be missed for any reason!

JUST A FEW WORDS:

Well, what to say in just a few words trying to do this film justice? It’s a great film, it’s dark and ambiguous, it deals with human nature in a way that has set up a new path for filmmakers all around the world. What is human and what is a machine and where this interaction stops being plain illusion and pure human touch?

PROS:

  • Great set design.
  • Acting.
  • Music.
  • Conceptually still contemporary.
  • Visual language.
  • Rutger Hauer/Roy Batty’s “monologue”.
  • Cinematography.

CONS:

  • A bit more depth in some facets of the script would’ve made this film even more poignant.
